Benihana Japanese TempanyakiIf you like a bit of a show with your meal, or need somewhere to take your nieces and nephews to keep them entertained through dinner – Benihana is the place. And the food is not bad! It’s Japanese tempanyaki style cooking (which means a chef cooks the food in front of you on a large frying board) with all the special effects. You will come out smelling like it too. Good for vegetarians, fish and meat eaters alike.

sake-no-hanaSake No Hana was so busy at the time of booking that we could only secure a table in the bar area. This turned out to be a bit of a treat – the atmosphere was calm and soothing and service was exceptional. The food is experimental and tasty, but severely expensive, so it’s advisable to make use of good offers on e.g. TopTable… If you love modern Japanese food and you’re looking for a restaurant with a versatile and impressive menu, Sake No Hana is the place to go. Drinks are imaginative and very boozy, service is outstanding and our second visit to the upstairs dining area was absolutely wonderful. www.sakenohana.com
